“ Small and cozy place with amazing food! Good vegetarian options too! One of the very few Colombian restaurants in the area. Highly recommend sharing the "plato de entradas mixto" as an appetizer. Beware: They only accept cash. ”
“ Just lovely food. The empanada con carne, the fried fish and the chimichurri sauce were excellent. ”
“ What a treat for your tastebuds! Firstly, the staff are lovely. Very friendly and helpful making you feel instantly welcome. It’s a small cosy restaurant with a homely feel. The only negative is the cold, if you’re seated in the half of the restaurant closest to the door. Even with the door closed there was a chill. On the flip side, who cares when you are drooling from the succulent food, right?! Inexpensive, I had reasonable expectations. I wasn’t disappointed and didn’t want the experience to end. The nation dish option had a variety of flavours, all lovingly prepared. The beer was a little pricey, especially the Columbian option that tasted very much like a German beer. I’m no beer expert, I prefer my calories solid! Give this place a visit. I’d recommend booking as, unsurprisingly, it started to get busy even mid week. Overall, I’d go back again, and again. Enjoy! ”
“ The ambience was amazing. The drink and starters were served timely basis and I highly appreciate. The food quality is good and represents what’s on the menu. I love the vegetarian options they have. Ordered bandeja vegetariana and taste was amazing. However I feel there was too much salt on patacon but it’s my opinion. ”
“ I recently visited this place with a bunch of friends and was delighted by the Colombian food. For starters, we ate Empanadas (Cheese, Chicken and Beef) and Yuca. They were served crisp and hot. I enjoyed the taste as well. Yuca was appetizing as well. But for me, the main highlight was the main course - Pescado Frito (Fried Dorade with coconut rice, avocado, fried plantain and salad). The fish was truly delicious! I had a hard time getting all the bones out but that only contributed to the novel experience of tasting Colombian cuisine. The plantains when combined with smashed avocados and salad was awesome. The portion size is quite big and eating it all can be a challenge (a good one). On the other hand, the service was very slow. It was a major downside for me. We waited nearly 1.5 hours for our order to arrive (Friday eve). I would recommend planning accordingly. The ambience was decent considering it's a small restaurant. The pricing is on the higher side but once in a while, it works :) Overall, we had a great food experience but there's still a lot of scope for improving the service. ”
“ We had reservations, which I would recommend. This was an amazing Colombian food experience. Fresh, fresh, fresh! The service was a little slow, but well worth the wait. We had the Plato de Entradas Mixto (pic1), Ceviche (pic2), Ajiaco (pic3) and Bandeja Paisa (pic4). All delicious! Restaurant is FULL of happy customers. Plan at least an hour. Don’t miss this spot! ”
“ We visited Karibik Restaurant in Aachen today and had a really nice experience. We ordered Plato de entradas mixto, Bisteck a caballo, Churrasco, Pescado Frito and Cola Zero. Everything was delicious, fresh, and a completely new taste experience for us. The flavors were authentic, and we really enjoyed trying different dishes. The only point for improvement is that the food took quite a long time to be prepared. However, once it arrived, it was definitely worth the wait. Overall, a great place to discover tasty dishes and a warm recommendation if you’re not in a rush! ”
